Explanation
Dr. Abdus Salam was a theoretical physicist who, along with Sheldon Glashow and Steven Weinberg, received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1979 for their contributions to the theory of the unified weak and electromagnetic interaction between elementary particles, also known as the electroweak theory. He was the first Pakistani and the first Muslim to receive a Nobel Prize in science.
